A bit of a self-proclaimed mild-mannered lunatic and peanut-butter connoisseur, Steven enjoys hanging from helicopters, mountain biking, hiking, and getting up well before any normal person should. His addiction for rising early comes from growing up on a farm, where the outdoors was his first and favorite playground. It continues today, and allows him more time to spend, with his wife and two boys, in the woods, of course.
On assignment Steven has traveled the globe from China to Costa Rica, British Columbia to the Caribbean. His commercial work has spanned coast to coast, allowing him to work for some of the country's most beautiful destinations. His work has been featured in magazines such as National Geographic Adventure, Backpacker, Outside, Men's Journal, Blue Ridge Outdoors, and Our State North Carolina.
Nestled in the heart of downtown Asheville, NC, and surrounded by the Blue Ridge Mountains, Steven operates his commercial photography studio. With a passion for perfection Steven is known for his dramatic location photography.
Steven is a Certified Wilderness First Responder.
