At MagicLight, we travel the world to capture its beauty. Our photo adventure tours are designed for those who look to be inspired. From writers to doctors, architects to artists, Sous Chefs to cinematographers, our trips are for those who long to admire the elements -- to capture the sun rise above the mountain, roll across the sky, or spill across a valley. And all with such power that the only way to share the experience is with an image -- one unparalleled by words.
All-Inclusive. A big difference is that we take care of everything except the airfare to and from your home.
Our tours are planned for their incredible beauty, where the multitude of photographic opportunities is overwhelming. With this in mind, we designed our classrooms to be outside "in" these locations. We believe that the best learning comes from doing, and we look forward to helping you expand your creative eye, master technical challenges and explore unforeseen options. We use the time traveling to and from locations for group discussions about technique, vision, gear or anything photo related, as well as the time we'll be sharing a fine meal together. Our passion is photography, and we are here to answer questions, share ideas and help you with your photography any way we can.
When weather gets unsafe, we like to use this time to regroup for discussion around a fireplace at a lodge while it passes, but this is a rare event. Most weather conditions yield great images. Truth is, we plan to be out shooting since some of our best shots have come from questionable conditions.
To allow for the best learning experience most groups are kept at 6-12 participants, and for larger tours we will have 2 or more professional photo leaders. In an effort to provide the best travel experience, all of our trips include a local guide familiar with the area and speaks the language.
