Join us as we tour magnificent Iceland and capture it's unique landscapes. Much of Iceland is still taking shape before your very eyes -- raw, dramatic landscapes born from volcanic eruptions and carved by huge glaciers. Some areas have hardly changed since the Vikings first saw them more than 1,100 years ago.
We plan to visit the largest glacier in Europe, see some of those amazing icebergs on the beach, waterfalls, volcano(s), wildlife and maybe make it to the ice caves if they are accessible. The days are long with 18+ hours of light as the sunrise is around 4:30am and sunset is 10:30pm. Yes, some days we will be going back to the hotel for a long nap after lunch.
From the USA we will fly IcelandAir - www.icelandair.us The flights from the US arrive early am in Reykjavik so that means you need to fly out on the evening before the first tour day. They offer service from Boston, New York, Seattle, Minneapolis, Toronto and many cities in Europe.
